Feeding Instructions
Crested geckos require a high quality diet tailored specifically for them, administered three or four times each week. Insects provide added entertainment as well as exercise; plus they help juveniles grow faster while fattening thin adult geckos!
When providing insects, always be sure that they haven’t been treated with chemicals. Insects tend to be better options than mealworms as their weak mandibles won’t harm your crested gecko as much. Crickets and dubia roaches make great snacks.
If feeding homemade puree or smoothie, lightly dust insects at each feeding with a multivitamin powder that does not include vitamin D3. When providing complete crested gecko food mixes such as Pangea Fig & Insects or Repashy Grubs N’ Fruit mixes, do not supplement with vitamin D3 supplements as this could upset their diet balance.

Formulated to contain minimal levels of oxalates, antinutrients and phosphorous so your crested gecko can digest its food more quickly and efficiently. This Pangea recipe uses North American farm raised crickets and black soldier fly larvae, providing increased omega fatty acids. In addition, this mix features organic dried mango, organic dried apricots and other sweet fruits for variety of flavors your gecko will enjoy! Additionally, banana-free varieties may make this mix less appealing; thus it mixes more thinly than other Pangea recipes.
Two ounces will provide enough food for a baby crested gecko to feed 30 to 35 times or about 1.5 months.
Storage
Gecko diets consist of dry powder mixes mixed with water. To ensure that all of the ingredients are evenly mixed together, and to provide sufficient insulation against heat loss. Some geckos prefer thicker food while others may prefer it more runny.
