Watermelon Mango

Since 2013, Watermeon Mango has become our most beloved crested gecko diet, beloved by gargoyle geckos, leachianus geckos, chahoua geckos and day geckos alike. Over years’ worth of testing on one of New Caledonian gecko collections spanning multiple species has resulted in this delicious formula!

It is an all-in-one formula suitable for use at all life stages, yet particularly effective as a breeder’s diet due to its high levels of protein and calcium. Furthermore, this diet works extremely well when feeding higher insect quantities to species like Mossy Prickle Gecko’s (Mniarogekko Chahoua).

This diet was carefully developed over many years to meet all the vitamins, minerals, and trace nutrients essential for crested geckos to remain healthy and vibrant. This low calorie food is free from seeds, nuts, seed meal or cereal grains while being low in phytates/oxalates content.

Growth & Breeding Formula

Banana Papaya was previously known as Banana Papaya and has become a favorite food choice of crested geckos and fruit eating lizards alike, such as New Caledonian crested geckos (Rhacodactylus leachianus), mossy prehensile-tailed geckos (Mniarogekko chahoua) and chameleon geckos (Eurydactylodes spp).

This diet boasts higher fat content than most Pangea gecko foods and can be an effective breeder formula while still meeting all other life stage needs. Furthermore, young geckos that are still learning to consume live insects may benefit greatly from using this option as part of their feeding regime.

Crested geckos require high levels of calcium for healthy bones and egg production, combined with delicious fruits that they enjoy eating. As part of a complete crested gecko diet plan, crickets or live dusted insects should also be offered at least twice weekly to complete its nutrition needs.

Fruit Mix Gecko Treat

Crested geckos love fruit, making any diet that offers them this as part of their food source an absolute winner. Unfortunately, cutting and mashing all these different fruits is often time consuming; that is why many crested gecko owners turn to meal replacement powders containing both insects and fruit as an easier solution.

Zoo Med’s food mix for crested geckos features organic fruits that cresties are sure to love, plus added protein from black soldier fly larvae and pea protein. Furthermore, probiotics provide digestive health support while the bright paprika adds some color.

This formula was specially created as breeder food and features the lowest level of oxalates to be gentle on your crested gecko’s gills. While this food may serve as a primary diet option, supplementation should still occur several times each week with insect feedings ideally. As this food contains thicker powder than most breeder formulas it should be mixed at 2.5 parts water to 1 part powder to achieve best results.

Insects

Crested geckos have quickly become one of the most beloved reptiles to keep as pets in captivity, due to their ease of care, distinctive appearance and limitless breeding potential. Pangea’s industry leading crested gecko diets offer both fruit and insects for sustenance; our Fig & Insect formula provides extra vitamins to ensure optimal growth! Additionally, this tasty treat features no banana content – making it perfect for picky eaters as well as those seeking to reduce levels of oxalic acid.

Pangea Fig & Insect should be combined with freshly dusted crickets or other insects 2-3 times every week to provide your crested gecko with a varied and essential protein diet. Make sure your enclosure is misted twice every day and use an accurate thermometer/hygrometer combo meter to monitor humidity levels in its habitat.
