Apigee’s Sense and Edge policies enable organizations to detect requests from specific clients, IP ranges or Autonomous System organizations that display malicious or suspicious behaviors and block or flag them – thus protecting passwords, session tokens and keys from potential attackers.
These features help protect APIs against data threats like XMLThreatProtection, while providing out-of-the-box features for logging, monitoring, error handling and auditing.

1. Feeding
Apiguard is a patented slow release gel available in 50g ready-to-use aluminium trays (two will treat one standard colony). A 3 kg tub is also popular among large scale beekeepers. Apiguard comes in various flavors such as strawberry and apple cider vinegar for large scale beekeepers to use and boost honeybee health and productivity without incurring extra costs for treatment – just think how affordable and efficient Apiguard will be in comparison to many other treatments! Additionally, it won’t damage honeybee brood or affect adult bees unlike many other treatments – yet does its job flawlessly!
2. Trays
Trays are containers or troughs used to hold and serve foods. Made of materials such as wood, silver and plastic, trays serve a multitude of functions in terms of both storage and presentation.
Trays can also be used to transport, store and display objects like surgical instruments. For instance, you could use one as part of an operating theatre setup.
Trays can be used in almost any environment, from restaurants and hospitals to schools, hotels and ships. They can be decorated with flowers, candles, perfumes and pictures for added flair.
Trays with ApiGuard(r) can assist in controlling Varroa mite (Varroa destructor), chalkbrood and tracheal mite / Acarine mite infestation in honeybee colonies, making an effective part of an integrated pest management program.
3. Vaporization
Vaporization is a natural process in which liquid molecules become gaseous and is often employed as a technique in distillation to separate out specific substances.
Vapor pressure for any substance above its liquid phase can be measured based on the average kinetic energy stored by its molecules, and increases with temperature increase.
As the kinetic energy of liquid molecules increases, it becomes harder for them to remain in their surface-crystalline state. Instead, this energy causes them to rise upward into the gaseous phase where they are released as vapor.
Evaporation involves gaseous vapor rising above the liquid’s surface and gathering into the atmosphere as rain or being carried by winds; when boiling occurs, however, this gaseous vapor will be absorbed back into it in bubbles beneath its surface as opposed to being removed altogether from it.
4. Bees
Bees are known as dangerous predators, so it is wise to wear protective clothing such as bee veils and other forms of protective apparel when working the hive. White coveralls or other light colored clothes are typically recommended.
Feeding is one of the key skills any beekeeper needs. Regular and timely feedings of hives is necessary in order to prevent colony starvation, ensure healthy immune responses, and fight Varroa mite infestation.
Pollen band readings should also be conducted once every week to give an indication of how your beehive is behaving, how much pollen they are finding and whether they are producing brood.
Fall is the ideal time for beekeeping, when top feeders can be used to feed bees when they aren’t busy with foraging. Simply fill the bottom of the feeder with sugar syrup, and bees will use this as food when not foraging within the hive.
