Watermelon Complete Diet

Since 2013, our Fruit Mix has quickly become one of our most beloved crested gecko foods. Perfect for gargoyle geckos (Rhacodactylus auriculatus), New Caledonian giant geckos (Rhacodactylus leachianus), mossy prehensile-tailed geckos (Mniarogekko chahoua), and all other fruit-eating geckos, it contains natural USA dried fruits, whey protein isolate, egg whites, bee pollen, bee pollen, algaes and probiotics – no seeds, nuts seed meal or cereal grains; free of anti-nutrients such as oxalates and phytates.

Watermelons contain one of the highest concentrations of lycopene of any fresh food, as well as being abundant with antioxidants, including Vitamin A (important for eye health), B6, C and potassium. They also contain citrulline which aids the body’s production of nitric oxide for improved blood flow and muscle function.

Add insects for an exhilarating eating experience, suitable for all life stages and an excellent option for breeders. This food may also be mixed with the dry food for maximum enjoyment!

Fig & Insects Complete Diet

Pangea’s latest gecko diet formula is an innovative banana-free mix with strong fig aroma and flavor to lure in frugivorous reptiles. Additionally, there are crickets, black soldier fly larvae, organically grown mealworms to increase Omega fatty acid levels – twice as many insects than with the original “With Insects” formulation!

This food is packed with all-natural USA dried fruits and a blend of premium all-natural protein sources such as whey protein isolate, micellar casein and insect-derived proteins – plus probiotics! Kelp, algaes, bee pollen and probiotics provide essential nutrition. There is no seed meal or nuts used as this formula to limit high oxalate content levels in their diet.

To prepare this mixture, simply combine one part powder with two parts water until you reach your desired consistency. It is wise to offer smaller portions initially in order to monitor lick marks and ensure your reptiles are eating.

Fruit Mix Gecko Treat

Crested geckos eat fruit as part of their wild diet, yet it can be difficult to create an effective crested gecko diet with just fruits as its source. Fruit has high phosphorus levels whereas calcium-rich foods should make up most of a crested gecko’s daily meals.

Additionally, certain fruits can contain inedible parts or potentially harmful ingredients, including oxalic acid and persin which may contain plant hormones which could be toxic for your crested gecko. As such, it’s best to provide your crested gecko with commercial crested gecko food with occasional treats of fresh fruits as a treat.

Pangea’s Fruit Mix Gecko Treat is a low protein version of their complete gecko diets designed to supplement insect feedings while providing all of their necessary vitamins, minerals, and trace nutrients for picky gecko species. Made of delicious organic bananas and papayas, this treat will keep even finicky geckos coming back for more!

Breeding Formula

Crested geckos require an abundance of vitamins and minerals in their diet in order to thrive, particularly during breeding season when they’re most likely to eat their food. Pangea Gecko Breeding Formula Diet features higher protein levels compared with other gecko diets while offering additional dietary fiber to help your pet remain healthy.

Keepers typically supplement the Pangea Fig & Insects Complete Diet with commercially prepared foods like crickets, roaches, superworms and waxworms as dietary staples to increase variety and nutritional value in their crested geckos’ diets. Insects (such as crickets, roaches roaches superworms waxworms etc) may also be offered occasionally to provide variety and boost your pet’s wellbeing.

Some keepers mist their crested gecko habitats daily to maintain proper humidity levels and help ensure your reptile has moist skin without experiencing shedding issues. Some keepers even use dechlorinating agents prior to offering water so as to reduce exposure to potential contaminants found in standard tap water sources.
