Most cresties love banana base fruit flavors, while some do not, which prompted us to develop the Fig with Insects mix as an additional food source that should be given alongside dusted and gutloaded insects.

Watermelon Complete Diet

Watermelons are low-calorie food sources of essential nutrients such as potassium, magnesium and iron. Watermelons also contain the amino acid citrulline which promotes vasodilation and proper blood flow, and provide antioxidants such as lycopene and lutein+zeaxanthin to lower risk for age-related eye diseases.

Watermelons are an excellent source of vitamins A and C as well as folate. Watermelons also boast numerous antioxidants which are known to combat free radicals produced in your body due to metabolic processes or introduced through smoking, air pollution, stress or other sources.

Pangea’s Watermeon Complete Diet has quickly become one of the most beloved crested gecko diets since we first released it in 2013. It is an excellent option for gargoyle geckos (Rhacodactylus auriculatus), New Caledonian giant geckos (Rhacodactylus leachianus), mossy prehensile-tailed geckos (Mniarogekko chahoua) and day geckos. Our formula contains low levels of phytate (binds calcium), while providing plenty of soluble fiber and dietary fiber content.

Apricot Complete Diet

Crested geckos require a range of freeze-dried diets in order to thrive, and one such option is the Apricot Complete Diet from Pangea Reptiles or Replashy. This food can serve both as a complete meal replacement powder (MRP) when fed three to four times per week or supplemented with insects one or two times weekly.

This food boasts an abundance of dietary fiber and probiotics to promote digestive tract health and help support optimal gut bacteria levels, along with all essential vitamins and minerals crested geckos need to thrive. With its delicious fruit flavor that attracts even finicky crested geckos to snacking on it – as well as being well received by gargoyle, leachianus, chahoua and day geckos alike!

This MRP was tested on one of the largest collections of crested geckos in the US, and found to be low in Phytates (an anti-nutrient that binds calcium and other minerals found in your reptile’s body). It uses Microfiltered Undenatured Micellar Casein, Whole Egg, and Whey Protein Isolate as primary protein sources; no animal fats are added as ingredients either; also used are Acacia Gum, Natural Flavors, Spirulina Algae Extract, Bee Pollen Carrageenan for your reptile’s overall wellbeing.

Fig & Insects Complete Diet

This formula was specifically created as a breeder mix, though any geckos of any stage can benefit. It contains high amounts of insect-derived protein and fat for maximum breeding results as well as USA-grown fruits and veggies, whey protein isolate and probiotics; no seeds, nuts, seed meal, cereal grains or high oxalate fruits or vegetables were included in its formulation.

Like its sister Pangea mixes, this one features only all-natural ingredients without artificial colorings or flavorings. Notably absent from its ingredients is banana powder – an advantage for picky geckos; and organically-grown mealworms help add omega fatty acid content by increasing omega 3 content.

Geckos seem to love this thinner formulation due to the absence of banana powder; we suggest starting out by providing much smaller portions than usual until you know how quickly it’s being eaten.

Fruit Mix Gecko Treat

PFM (Organic Banana and Papaya Mix) has quickly become one of the most beloved diet options since its debut in 2013. It was designed as one half of the crested gecko diet alongside live dusted, gutloaded insects – although not a complete meal due to lacking protein, PFM does contain all essential vitamins and minerals necessary for your reptile’s well-being.

Pangea’s has designed this food with low levels of Phytic Acid and Oxalates, making it an important aspect of their reptile’s wellbeing. High concentrations can cause issues like Floppy Tail Syndrome, poor egg quality, weak bones and low calcium absorption – issues Pangea have specifically targeted for mitigation in this food formula.

To create this food, simply combine one part of powder with two or three parts water until desired texture is reached. Refrigerated storage should last up to seven days once prepared – an 8 oz bag produces one whole blender full!
