Additionally, this diet features an impressive level of insect protein to provide geckos with all essential nutrition they receive from insects such as crickets or black soldier fly larvae.
Pangea recently developed this food specifically as a breeder formula for newly introduced species of crested gecko. It is highly palatable, mixing well, and easily consumed by geckos of all life stages; especially beneficial to young and developing crested geckos. Although less messy than our other formulations, this one still boasts our incredible array of fruits that geckos love!

Pangea Gecko Diet Growth and Breeding Formula provides essential nutrition to adult breeding geckos. This innovative recipe provides high levels of protein with higher fat contents to maximize breeding results while remaining highly palatable and providing extra calcium support for female gecko laying gecko eggs.
The diet contains all-natural USA dried fruits, whey protein isolate, algaes and probiotics for added nutrition. It is low in oxalates and phytates; contains no seeds, nuts, seed meal cereal grains or high-oxalate fruits or vegetables and was designed specifically to provide an ideal balance of nutrition during all stages of life; tested on crested geckos.
Mix one part powder with 2.5 parts water until desired consistency is reached, refrigerate for up to seven days, open dry mix will last six months at room temperature or one year when stored unopened in the fridge, and occasional insect feedings should also be implemented as breeding geckos require daily food sources.
This thicker breeder mix may stick more readily to geckos’ tails and toes when they crawl through it; this issue can easily be remedied with a rinse or sauna session. As this diet contains higher-fat content, many geckos may not clean their bowl as frequently.

This food features an irresistibly watermelon aroma and makes a fantastic food choice for New Caledonian giant geckos (Rhacodactylus leachianus), gargoyle geckos (Rhacodactylus auriculatus), and chameleon geckos (Eurydactylodes spp).
