The new Fig & Insects diet is a bit thinner than their other formulas, but some geckos seem to enjoy it. We recommend offering it daily and removing any uneaten food after 24 hours.

Fig & Insects

Pangea Fig & Insects is a banana-free formula with a solid fig flavor that’s sure to please even the pickiest gecko. It’s one of the most popular crested gecko diets on the market, so you’re likely to get your money’s worth out of it.

The 2oz sized sample should be good for about 30 feedings or so, depending on the size of your gecko. Be sure to follow the recommended feeding schedule. We recommend starting out with a small portion and gradually increasing the amount over time until you’re feeding your gecko a full cup of Pangea fig per meal. This is the best way to ensure your pet gecko receives the nutrients he needs for optimal health and longevity.

We have a huge selection of pangea gecko food and supplements in stock at great prices! You’ll find everything from the classic Pangea fig to the latest innovations in pangea gecko food.

Watermelon Mango

The watermelon mango is one of Pangea’s most popular crested gecko diets. It is great for gargoyle geckos (Rhacodactylus auriculatus), New Caledonian giant geckos (Rhacodactylus leachianus), mossy prehensile-tailed gecko (Mniarogekko chahoua), day geckos and all fruit eating geckos.

The diet is formulated to contain very low levels of Anti-Nutrients like Oxalates and Phytates. These can contribute to poor egg quality, slow growth, weak bones, increased incidence of Floppy Tail Syndrome and other calcium related issues in geckos.

Feeding Directions: Mix 1 part powder to 2 parts water, adjust to desired consistency. Replace every 48 hours, more often if conditions are warm and humid to avoid mold and fruit flies.

This diet can be fed to crested geckos throughout their life stages. For growth and maintenance, feed 3-5 times per week. For breeding, feed daily. Adding insects to the diet is not required but can be beneficial to your gecko’s health and mental enrichment. If you do add insects to this diet, be sure to offer them a few times per week.

Banana & Papaya

Banana and papaya are both nutritious fruit varieties that provide your geckos with plenty of calcium, vitamins, and trace elements. This formula is especially good for crested geckos, but it can be fed to any fruit eating gecko that enjoys a healthy mix of different fruits.

Both banana and papaya are low in calories and have a balanced ratio of protein, carbohydrates, and fat. They also contain a significant amount of vitamin C, vitamin B6, and riboflavin.

In addition, both banana and papaya are excellent sources of dietary fiber, potassium, and specific flavonoid compounds, such as lutein + zeaxanthin and lycopene.

This pangea gecko food is the result of over 5 years of development and testing, culminating in a complete diet that contains ideal levels of calcium for strong bones and egg laying as well as the proper nutrients to keep your geckos healthy! It can be fed as part of a rotation plan that includes insects once or twice a week, or it can be offered exclusively.

Growth & Breeding Formula

A complete gecko diet, PBF is designed to meet the unique needs of reproductive crested geckos and is a bit more fortified than our standard fare. Aside from the aforementioned insects, this formula boasts a number of other notable entrants in the gecko food arena, including Whey Protein Isolate, Bee Pollen, Algae, Probiotics and more.

Unlike other gecko foods that are heavy on the minerals, this is a low calorie diet with only a few grams of fat per serving. It also has the highest calcium content of all our gecko diets at a whopping 7 grams of the good stuff in the form of natural Guava Flavor, as well as a plethora of vitamins and minerals, including Mixed Tocopherols, Choline Chloride, Ferrous Fumarate, Potassium Sorbate, Beta Carotene, Inositol, Niacin, Kelp Meal, Ascorbic Acid, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Biotin, Folic Acid, Sulfur, Zinc Oxide, Vitamin B12. The best way to feed this is a small sized meal every other day.
