Iceberg lettuce should be avoided as its nutritional value is very limited and eating too much may lead to diarrhea. When introducing new vegetables to your guinea pigs, start gradually and give a small portion each day over seven days so you can make sure they can digest each veggie before increasing portions.

As long as they’re free of pesticides, all leafy greens are safe for guinea pigs to consume daily.
