Pumpkin Peanut Butter Dog Treats

Treat your pup right with these DIY homemade dog treats made in under 30 minutes using healthy ingredients with no preservatives or additives! They make the perfect pet reward!

This recipe is ideal if you have leftover pumpkin puree from making Pumpkin Spice Bread, Warm Cranberry Apple Pumpkin Baked Oatmeal or other fall recipes, such as Pumpkin Pie Filling. Fresh pumpkin can also be used instead. Just ensure the pumpkin puree does not contain added spices (e.g. pumpkin pie filling is too spicy).

This recipe requires natural peanut butter. Be sure to read the label and select a brand without Xylitol, an artificial sweetener known to be dangerous to dogs. Use cookie cutters to cut shapes from the dough before placing on an un-greased baking sheet at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes (a shorter baking time will result in chewier treats) until lightly golden in colour – allow to cool before serving!

Peppermint Carob Dog Treats

Give your pup a taste of the season with these mouthwatering cookies made exclusively for dogs! Crafted using carob (Gabe-approved chocolate substitute) and molasses, these delicious Howliday treats will certainly impress.

Make these delicious carob-mint cookies for your pup to earn them a promotion in bed! Pair them with The Honest Kitchen Daily Boosters Instant Goat’s Milk to give them an irresistibly delectable treat that also works wonders on freshening up breath!

Instead of baking or setting before serving, these frozen treats don’t require baking or setting in advance. Simply mix up the ingredients, pour into a popsicle mould and freeze until firm – they make great ways to use up leftover carob from baking cookies or you can switch it up by replacing minty centers with plain yogurt ones! They should keep well at room temperature or stored in the fridge to extend shelf-life further.

Coconut Shortbread Dog Treats

With just a few affordable and simple ingredients, you can bake an irresistibly delectable treat for Fido to make their holiday truly amazing. Made of pumpkin and peanut butter, this treat will satisfy their sweet tooth all day long and keep their belly happy!

Spread shredded coconut on an ungreased baking sheet; bake until it turns golden-brown while stirring regularly. Allow to cool completely.

Mix butter, sugars and vanilla in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour; beat until dough is smooth. It should remain sticky but should stick together when pressed lightly.

Dough can be prepared up to two days ahead and treats made using it by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F and lining a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

Gingerbread Dog Treats

Gingerbread treats for dogs are an extremely popular treat among many pet owners, thanks to their healthy ingredients that include minimal molasses and sugar content. Furthermore, these irresistibly delicious snacks look much like their human-oriented counterparts so can easily be shared among friends and family without them realizing they’re meant for animals!

This recipe calls for the use of natural sweetness–molasses–which makes this treat ideal as a digestive aid for dogs. While safe, only use in moderation; alternatively dark or blackstrap molasses could provide less-sweet options.

Make sure that all spices used are appropriate for dogs. Nutmeg can be toxic in large doses and cause health issues including increased heart rate, high blood pressure, hallucinations, seizures and more. This recipe includes ground ginger which is safe in small doses for canines.
