Today, this company stands as one of Asia’s largest privately owned agribusinesses with 22 production facilities spread across 11 countries and an annual milling capacity of more than 2.5 million metric tons combined livestock and aquaculture feed production capacity. They produce an array of concentrates, premixes, compound feed products for poultry, swine, ruminants, horses, aquaculture applications as well as specialty breeds.

Godrej Group has acquired a majority stake in Gold Coin Feed Mills, one of Asia’s leading agribusinesses. Gold Coin manufactures concentrates, premixes and compound feed for poultry, pigs, ruminants, fish and specialty breeds at 23 production facilities across Asia – employing 2,400 people at those facilities alone!

Godrej Agrovet acquired Gold Coin aqua feed as part of their strategy to consolidate animal feed business in India. They plan to merge it with their existing Godrej Agrovet division which produces one million tonnes annually of compound feed for cattle, poultry and aquaculture.
