Fruit Mix Gecko Treat
Pangea’s award-winning complete gecko diets begin with PFM as its foundation. Formulated to contain low levels of oxalates and antinutrients while meeting optimal calcium requirements for strong bones and egg laying as well as other vitamins, minerals, and trace nutrients for reptiles, PFM serves as the fruit portion or can entice picky eaters into eating the complete diets more regularly – including at least once or twice weekly insect feedings! Available in 2oz, 8oz and 10lb bulk packages which can be mixed with water to desired consistency before offering daily; once mixed it will last up to 7 days if refrigerated!
Growth & Breeding Formula
This food was specifically developed to meet the unique requirements of reproductive crested geckos. It features the highest protein and fat contents of any Pangea diet, most coming from insect sources (crickets and black soldier fly larvae) while still remaining palatable to geckos of all ages. Furthermore, bananas and apricots were added for enhanced feeding response similar to other Pangea fruit mixes.
Before offering food to geckos, it’s essential that it be mixed thoroughly as this allows natural flavors and aromas to intensify when water is added to it. This mix can be served dry or wet – adult geckos should receive this food at least three times every week, and juveniles daily.
This formula tends to stick more firmly to geckos’ tails and toes than other Pangea formulas, making rinsing after every feeding necessary. Furthermore, more mold growth than with its lower-fat counterpart is often observed – something completely normal that shouldn’t cause concern.
