Vectra 3D

Vectra 3D is an advanced topical solution designed to protect dogs against fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, lice, sand flies and mites (excluding mange mites ). This quick-drying solution begins killing fleas within five minutes after application and continues working even after bathing or swimming – remaining effective for an entire month!

As well as killing ticks, this product also repels and kills other species such as brown dog ticks, deer ticks, American dog ticks, Gulf Coast ticks, Lone Star ticks, and sandflies – not to mention repelling tiger mosquitoes and Aedes mosquitoes – while simultaneously preventing all stages of flea development; eggs, larvae, pupae and adults.

This triple-action formula is especially effective against biting flies and sand flies that feed at night, irritating and infuriating your pup while spreading potentially deadly diseases. Thanks to patented technology that detects them before they bite or transmit any serious diseases such as Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Ehrlichiosis Babesiosis Hepatozoonosis etc.

Trifexis

Trifexis is an oral preventative for flea, heartworm and intestinal parasite prevention prescribed by veterinarians and available as chewable tablets to make dosing easy for pet owners. Dosage depends on weight and should be given monthly. While Trifexis may seem more costly than Frontline Plus or NexGard medications, Trifexis’ multifunctional approach provides more comprehensive protection from fleas, ticks and heartworms than these products alone.

Trifexis contains Spinosad as its active ingredient to kill adult fleas and ticks before they can lay eggs, thus eliminating flea infestations that cause itching, chewing, or hair loss in dogs. This also protects them against future attacks caused by these parasites that recur regularly throughout their environment and reduce recurrent outbreaks that could otherwise spread throughout their environment and environment.

Milbemycin oxime, another component of Trifexis, helps prevent heartworm disease in dogs by protecting them against mosquito bites that transmit this parasitic infection and can result in serious health complications for them. Furthermore, this medication controls intestinal worms which may contribute to poor growth and weight gain among pets.

Simparica Trio

Simparica Trio is a chewable medication designed to prevent fleas, ticks, intestinal worms and heartworm disease. The combination of active ingredients–sarolaner, moxidectin and pyrantel–works to kill fleas by over-stimulating their nervous systems, leading to paralysis or death of parasites such as fleas.

In addition to flea prevention, this medication kills five species of ticks including gulf coast ticks, American dog ticks, lone star ticks and deer ticks. Furthermore, it helps prevent the spread of Lyme disease caused by Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria among pets.

Studies conducted to test this product have demonstrated its efficacy. One such evaluation revealed that existing ticks begin dying off within 8 hours after treatment with it, and was also effective against weekly-induced tick infestations. This feature is particularly relevant given that even one black-legged tick (Ixodes scapularis) can transmit dangerous pathogens to dogs including bacteria responsible for Lyme disease; transmission may take up to 24 hours post attachment.

Bravecto

Bravecto is an easy, tasty chew and topical medication designed to protect both dogs and cats against fleas and paralysis ticks. Available for puppies as young as 8 weeks of age.

Bravecto demonstrated its efficacy against flea (Ctenocephalides felis) infestations for three months in a well-controlled field study and eliminated preexisting paralysis tick (Ixodes holocyclus) infestations within 24 hours after treatment, along with killing new parasites from hatching for 12 weeks.

Bravecto uses fluralaner, an active ingredient which disrupts certain nervous system receptors found on fleas and ticks, to cause them to consume the drug when they bite your pet and die as a result of it. Bravecto may also help protect against other tick species and mites but should not be used as heartworm prevention medication; speak to your veterinarian regarding what treatment option best fits your pet before purchasing this medication either in-store or online.
